Walkthrough: Borg Cube

NOTE: Don't shoot the borg until you have to a bit later and you will be able to avoid some of them. Also note to check on your teammates following you haven't got left behind. Also note that any weapon other than the i-mod MAY work for a short time on borgs but then they will be shielded from it so the only one that will ALWAYS work on them is the i-mod so I suggest you stick to it. Your team members will only take so much damage then they will go down too so try not to let that happen.

Just ahead to the left in the corner is a disruptor node. Blow it up. Just to the right a corridor is now accesable take it. Continue along all the way to the blue force field and it will be opened by your team mates and the borg will beam in. Not long later they will start to fight you and you will have to kill them. If you don't do this really quickly you will lose foster. I don't think it matters too much but he will be usfull fighting for you though so I would try and save him. Also some of the borg her don't attack unless attacked first but not all. Proceed onwards though where the blue force field was. You will eventually come to see foster behind a yellow force field.

When they stop talking and one a bit down the corridor opens a force fields take the one into the room to the right and hope near the control panel at the end and take the elevator up. take the crawl way behind you and press the control panel you come to and take the elevator down and kill the borg down there and foster will be rescued. All this only works out if you are extrememly fast. There is a control console near where foster was to lower the rest of the yellow force fields near you use it.

Return to your teammates in the hall and continue along past this yellow field area. When you come to a room with a large collum in it and another hall coming off it go around the back of the colum find the disnode and destroy it then take the other hall. Follow it for a big fight next to a chasm (I think it is inevitable that one gets hurts and has to beem back to the ship here) and them continue on. Soon seven will instruct the others to stay behind and up abit she wil work and the force field and ask you to protect her until she is done. This is a very hard battle and you will have to protect her and your team mates back abit as well until the force field is down and there all gone. Continue though where the field was into the next part.

Continue on and take any path at the intersection like seven says they all lead to the same green force field. In the same room the green force field is there is a hole in one of the walls. Crawl though it and at the end though the bars you should be able to see a disnode . Shoot it through the bars and go back to where the green field was and continue on. The left is a dead end with a health and weapon power up so you right into the room with the big enclosed elevator in the middle. Go around the other side and enter the elevator press the button and take it down. Exit and go around the back and hop on the small elevator in the recess of the wall and press the button to go down. At the bottom go around the colum and seven will access the sub processing matrix and get you some info.

Continue on and you will come to a room with a green force field and a disnode with grating around it. Fire a granade over the top to the grating like on the screenshot and it will blow up the disnode and lower the forcefield. Continue though and along a bit you will come to an elevator hop on and press the button and you will then enter the next part.

Go left around the catwalk until you reach the doorway then enter and go along till you reach the columed room. If you continue along the left hand wall you will eventually read a lift take it down. In one corner of this room you will find another elevator going down take it as well. On the way down you will see a red thing to blow up which opens a grate behind it when you do so. When you have blown it and the elevator passes it get off quickly and continue through the crawlway.

Through the crawlway you will come to a disnode on the roof blow it up. The end of the crawlway is a health and weapon recharge and a dead end so you needn't bother just go back and fall down the bottom where the elevator ended and continue on through where the forcefield was. Continue on where you will find the vinculm and seven will be posses temporaryly. You then make a dead with the devil so to speak and can continue on. (do you trust the borg? I don't). Take the only way out besides the one you came in and continue along to the blue force field where seven will tell you your weapons have been previously modified to kill species 8472 and can kill them as well as deactive the blue force field for you. You can then continue on the the next part.

Continue on until you reach a room with a lot of colums and 2 others exits. Take the one that has the colum down it with blue energy going up it. The other one just goes back the way you came so you can ignore it. Continue along though the corridors and catwalks (there is only every one other path besides the one you came in) tell you get the to elevator and take it. Up the elevator cross the catwalk and enter the room with the isodesium. The borg will double cross you and in return you will blow up there vinculm which will eventually blow up there ship. Kill all the borg there and the mission is complete.
